It is a single board 18" wide showing the tenons hand sawed both vertically and across the grain, as Ive always done, then pared to 5/16" thick, and you can see the penciled in arch to be sawed out and the thumb nail design to be carved on that inside curve just before final assembly of the whole face frame. >
