Sawing the slip mortise pocket for the slip tenon on the door stilesI use the marking gauge set at 5/16" (1/3 the thickness of the frame) to score for sawing. The double points of the gauge are filed to a knife edge to which I can saw to without needing to pare (trim). Next >
