This table is a replica of the one at the MMA, New York, circa, 1650-1700, with changes to the size of the top - 32'' wide instead of 24" wide, and the feet and posts are slightly altered. This photo shows well the wedges in the stretcher at the post, just as the Met's table, which makes the base very stable and easily disassembled. 1987.
