All of the woodwork in this room is grain painted to add to the importance and specialness of that woodwork and other furnishings of the parlor.

The owners, both accomplished artists in their separate fields, collaborated equally and separately. Frank, a multi faceted and talented designer in lighting, film and magazine advertising, (the Garrett Wade Tool catalog in the 1980's ) designed and made the drawings for all the fireplace mantels, and literally all other woodworking details. Having built architectural details in every room, and space, I have all his drawings and notes. There is not a spot that does not have his signature on it, passionate, all in and hands on!
